Cookie Policy for Gennety

This Cookie Policy explains how Gennety ("Gennety", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website gennety.com, in our Telegram Mini Apps, and in our mobile application. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
"Cookies" are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies:
- Local storage — a browser store that keeps small values (like your language or a consent record) until they are cleared.
- Session identifiers — a random value we keep in your browser so that a consent choice can be tied to the moment you made it, without identifying you.
- App/Mini App local storage — the equivalent on-device store inside Telegram Mini Apps and the mobile app.
Where this Policy says "cookies", it means all of these unless stated otherwise.
2. Our Approach in One Line
The website works with necessary storage only. Everything else — functional, analytics, and marketing — is off by default and runs only if you turn it on. Inside the Telegram bot we operate a no-third-party-tracking model.
3. Cookie Categories
When you first visit gennety.com, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize. You can reopen these choices at any time via Cookie Preferences in the website footer.

Necessary storage relies on our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website (and, for the consent record itself, our legal obligation to keep proof of consent). Every other category relies on your consent.
4. The Consent Record We Keep
Because consent law requires us to be able to demonstrate a valid consent, when you make a choice we store an append-only record. It contains:
- the action you took (accepted / rejected / partial / withdrawn);
- which categories you allowed;
- the version of this Cookie Policy in force at the time;
- a random session identifier from your browser's local storage;
- the page URL where you made the choice;
- your browser's user-agent string;
- a salted hash of your IP address — we do not store the raw IP.
This record cannot be edited or deleted after it is written (it is a compliance log), and it is not used to profile you or to advertise to you. Retention and your rights over it are covered in the Privacy Policy.
5. Changing or Withdrawing Your Choice
- On the website: open Cookie Preferences in the footer at any time to change categories or withdraw consent. Withdrawing turns every optional category off going forward.
- In your browser: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may stop parts of the site working.
- Third-party cookies set by an embed you enabled (such as Spotify) are controlled by that provider; you may need to clear them through your browser or the provider's own controls.
When we materially change this Policy we update the version, which prompts the banner to ask for your choice again where the law requires.
6. Telegram Mini Apps and the Mobile App
Our Telegram Mini Apps and mobile app do not use advertising or analytics cookies. They use on-device local storage only for what they need to work — for example remembering your language and theme, or holding an unsent form draft. Everything you do inside the Telegram bot is also processed by Telegram under Telegram's own policies, which we do not control.
